The drive directory was set up in hyperspin as "F" drive, I already had an F drive my PC, meaning I had to manually change directories in the set up, not difficult, but time consuming. It did not happen for me when I sent a hdd to someone else to be filled with all the hyperspin.
GET MAME HYPERSPIN PC
Perhaps his hdd would be config free, but plugging it in as an external drive and expecting it to just play without any configuration on your PC may or may not happen. "Another Rat" is posting about his ease of setting up hyperspin, but I assume he is doing so from the perspective a someone who is comfortable with computers, already knows about command lines and FTP. To see what I could be getting myself intoĪ couple of years ago it filled a 2 Terabyte drive, probably hasn't grown much since then? Just out of interest how big a file would you need for all your themes and videos etc just curious I really like the look of hyperspin but may try a few others to see how it all pans out. As the other guys have said, there are other and easier options but it depends on what you are after. I am using Hyperspin on the driving cabs I am building as I really like how it works. all working and there would be no configuration needed. If you were near me I could give you a copy of my set up, videos and themes etc. You do still need to do the initial configuration though.
GET MAME HYPERSPIN DOWNLOAD
If you pay for Platinum, you can use HyperSync (I think it is called that) and it will download new themes and apply them automatically. If you pay for membership (minimum of Gold will give you FTP access) you can download them all in one go. The only real need to touch it would be if there is a theme that you want to add as it wasn't available when you initially set it up. I found that it was pretty easy to set up and haven't had a need to touch it for a couple of years since setting it up. HyperSpin is the bee's knees, however you will forever be downloading media files to get it to look as good as it can and it is a painful, seemingly never ending process.
